In the epoch of the Revival of a new era of a sovereign state, under a peaceful sky and on fertile land, our youth is surrounded by special care and attention from Hero-Arkadag and Hero Arkadagly Serdar. The annual competition of scientific works among the youth of Turkmenistan stimulates scientific activity and innovation. The first round of the competition in the direction of "Information and Communication Systems, Computer Technologies" was held at the Technology Center in Ashgabat. Byagul Beglieva, a researcher at the Mary Velayat Museum of History and Local Lore, presented a research paper "The Importance of Modern Information Technologies for Museums in Turkmenistan." In the modern world, information technology plays a key role in the development of the museum system and the popularization of national cultural heritage. The introduction of virtual (VR) and augmented (AR) reality opens up new opportunities for museums. Byagul Beglieva's scientific work aims to create virtual museums, develop innovative technologies and create open-air museums, which will allow Turkmenistan to keep pace with developed countries. The first step in this direction was the creation of a virtual version of the historical and cultural monument Gonurdepe, the capital of Ancient Margiana, the cradle of the fifth world civilization. A virtual journey to Gonurdepe gives the opportunity to immerse you in the atmosphere of that era. The next goal of the scientific work is to create a virtual tour of Merv of the 10th-12th centuries based on historical data. This will allow visitors to see historical and cultural monuments in virtual reality before visiting them in person. We sincerely wish health and long life to Hero-Arkadag and Hero Arkadagly Serdar, who create favorable conditions for the development of science and innovation in Turkmenistan.
