On the occasion of the Turkish delegation’s visit, the scientific staff of the Mary Regional History and Ethnography Museum organized an exhibition at the "Marguş" Hotel. The display featured carpet art, jewelry, traditional household items, and handicrafts, showcasing our national heritage and leaving a profound impression on guests. Further event was enriched with fascinating performances of folk music and songs, which the attendees enthusiastically enjoyed. Just as Turkmen history stretches back to antiquity, its culture and art, reaching deep into early civilizations. The Turkmen people have mastered the art of elevating craftsmanship to an exquisite level. Every nation is recognized by its traditions and national treasures, and the Turkmen people possess no shortage of wonders that amaze the world. Among them are: - The world-renowned Turkmen carpets, a delicate and refined art form, - Elegant jewelry that enhances the beauty of brides and young women, - Ornate national costumes reflecting our unique identity. As we know, the inclusion of Turkmen needlework art in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List has filled Turkmen women with pride and joy. This achievement is a testament to the immense skill and dedication of our young women in preserving this fine craft. We express our deepest gratitude to Hero Arkadag and the Honorable President of Turkmenistan, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for their efforts in studying, preserving, and promoting Turkmen national heritage in the worldwide.
