In the blessed era of the powerful state, under the leadership of our Hero Arkadag and the Arkadagly Hero Serdar, our independent and permanently neutral country celebrates every day with festivities and national holidays. The year 2025, declared as the "International Year of Peace and Trust," brings continuous progress and transformation across all spheres in our nation. As in all parts of our country, celebrations dedicated to May 9th – Victory Day are held in Mary Velayat, with various exhibitions organized in military units. At Military Unit No. 04246 in Mary city, a special exhibition was arranged by the staff of the Mary Velayat Historical and Regional Studies Museum in honor of Victory Day. The exhibition features photographs of brave Turkmen soldiers who participated in the Second World War (1941–1945), their uniforms, personal belongings, wartime utensils, oil lamps used for lighting, and books written about the war years. The display was further enriched not only with wartime artifacts but also with items symbolizing victory—such as musical instruments, poetic verses dedicated to triumph, and artwork expressing aspirations for peace—all of which captivated the visitors.
