Thanks to the tireless paternal care of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and our esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the country's agriculture is dynamically developing. Favorable conditions have been created in Turkmenistan for the effective work of farmers. Over the years of independence, our hardworking farmers have achieved significant success in growing grain, cotton and other agricultural crops, ensuring stable harvests and successfully implementing the tasks set by the state.
On the eve of the cotton sowing campaign, the Mary Velayat Museum of History and Local Lore was visited by leading agricultural workers, machine operators, respected elders who made a significant contribution to the development of the agricultural sector and were awarded state awards. During the tour, they learned about the history of Turkmen agriculture, traditional farming methods, the customs of Babadayhan, the patron saint of agriculture, as well as ancient tools. Museum staff provided detailed information about these exhibits.
To strengthen the material and technical base of the agricultural sector of Turkmenistan, modern agricultural machinery is regularly purchased abroad, which greatly facilitates the work of our farmers.
Along with providing farmers with land and equipment, the state is taking measures to increase the profitability of their farms. The esteemed President's permission to export surplus cotton, grain and vegetables to world markets helps increase farmers' incomes.
Regular meetings of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with farmers, their support and generous gifts inspire rural workers to new achievements.
