The Mary Regional Museum of Local History organized an exhibition at the Mary Region Financial and Economic School as part of an event dedicated to International Women's Day. The festive event featured several performances praising the decorative and applied arts of the Turkmen people. The mobile exhibition of the Mary Regional Museum of Local History presented historical treasures such as carpets and carpet products, various types of silver jewelry, women's clothing adorned with diverse patterns, and traditional headscarves – "kurte" and "chyrpy" – which are part of our national heritage. The material and spiritual values created by the Turkmen people, the finest examples of crafts embodying unique beauty, and the most exquisite traditions of our way of life and customs, passed down through the centuries, form the fundamental part of our national heritage. The traditions passed down to us by our glorious ancestors play a significant role in nurturing the younger generation in a spirit worthy of the principles of hard work, patriotism, and morality. In our society, such cultural events and museum exhibitions among young people play a particularly important role in shaping generations devoted to their homeland and people. Our national heritage, originating from the stream of wisdom and reason of the Renaissance era of the new era of a sovereign state, is a spiritual mirror of the people and an art that has become eternal. It is a reliable source for studying the development of the artistic consciousness of the nation.
