On March 3, 2025, the traveling exhibition of the Mary Velayat Museum of History and Local Lore was held with great success at the Yolaman Hummayev Music College in Mary. The exposition presented at the exhibition included exquisite examples of women's clothing, traditional jewelry, and carpet weaving tools, as well as unique children's clothing and other valuable museum exhibits.
An educational lecture was held for young visitors to the exhibition, during which they were told about the enduring value of the exhibits, carefully preserved for many generations. Particular attention was paid to the fact that the craftswomen who created traditional patterns drew inspiration from the beauty of nature and everyday life. It was emphasized that handicrafts of Turkmen craftsmen enjoy well-deserved worldwide fame.
The students showed a keen interest in Turkmen national jewelry and traditional ornaments, asking many questions, indicating their sincere desire to get acquainted with the rich cultural heritage of their people.
The exquisite jewelry created by the hands of our ancestors aroused genuine admiration among all those present. It was noted that jewelry art not only emphasizes the beauty of Turkmen women, but also has a beneficial effect on their health. The participants of the event were also presented with fascinating legends and historical facts related to the ancient and modern art of Turkmenistan, in particular, jewelry.
At the end of the event, the students expressed their sincere gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar for their tireless work to develop and preserve the priceless cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.
